(released
6/20/2007)
By Douglas Lorah
The 48 Hour Film Project already ran successfully in the Tampa area. It is now heading to Jacksonville and for the third year in Miami. The competition is July 27th to July 29th in Miami and the screenings will be July 31st and August 1st.
Filmmakers compete in over 30 cities to create the best short film with a chance at winning $7500 cash, exposure and pride. The contestants have 48 hours to write, shoot and edit their movie. At the start, they are given a character, a line, a prop and each team randomly selects a genre.
