Advisory Board Elected New Chairs

The Miami-Dade County Film and Entertainment Advisory Board, comprised of a group of film and entertainment industry professionals, unanimously elected Mr. Will Edwards, owner of Sprockets Music, as their Chair and Ms. Piedad Palacios, Producer as Vice Chair.
The seventeen member Board was created with the purpose to advise the Mayor, County Commission and Office of Film & Entertainment on policies and issues affecting the Film and Entertainment production industry in Miami-Dade County as they relate to that industry's economic viability. According to Will Edwards, Chair, Miami-Dade Film & Entertainment Advisory Board, "We are in a production environment that is changing along with the rest of the industry, but I am optimistic and excited about things to come."
The Miami-Dade County Film & Entertainment Advisory Board meets bi-monthly to discuss a wide array of issues facing the local film and entertainment industry including incentives, community building, insurance, lack of investors and industry cohesiveness.
