FILMiami Participates in International Emmy Awards

Annie Perez, Director of Marketing for FilMiami attended the INTERNATIONAL EMMY® WORLD TELEVISION FESTIVAL and 34th INTERNATIONAL EMMY® AWARDS GALA November 19th and 20th in New York.
This year FilMiami participated by co-hosting with Miami Dade College the semi-final judging for Latin American programming in the categories of Drama and Comedy on August 21, 2006 at the Wolfson Campus. FilMiami was invited to attend the Festival and Gala in New York. In addition, Miami in the Spotlight Black Books and DVD were distributed at the INTERNATIONAL EMMY® WORLD TELEVISION FESTIVAL.
Annie Perez was joined in New York by some of the Miami judges including Chris Phillip from the Universal Pictures Group and Maritza Guimet from the Florida Media Market. More than 1,000 attended the awards gala including VIP's Steven Spielberg, Susan Sarandon, Katie Couric, Christiane Amanpour, Rosie Perez and directors and producers from all over the world.
