Miami Independent Film & Music Festival

On Saturday, July 29th 2006, the Roxy Theatre located at 1645 SW 107 Avenue will host the first annual Miami Independent Film & Music Festival. In association with Stand Alone Video Productions and Rymatica Entertainment, this event will feature unsigned acts from both the film and music industries.
There will be workshops for anyone who would be interested in knowing the "ins & outs" of filming. Feature film, short film, and music finalists will be vying for awards, which will be given at the end of the event. The Roxy Theatre will accommodate 2 stages for the musicians and two theaters for the films and one room with merchandise, local artists, and more.
Celebrity judge panel will include:
Musical Panel
Mel-T of 93 ROCK FM, comedian Todd Webster, music mogul Monserrattz (Dance Planet X), international model and spokesperson Sadie Bird, and actor and entrepreneur Sherra "Flash" Jones.
Film Panel
Co-owner of Twelve Corners Entertainment and film producer Ilan Lewinger, actor and TV host Mike Messier, actor/director/producer Mark Vasconcellos, and actor/director/film critic and owner of 7M Pictures Kevin Carr.
The event will be hosted by: actress and model Estefania Crespo.
Doors will open at 9:45am and will continue on to 2am. Admission is $15.00 at the door & $10.00 for pre-sales.
