The library is located at 101 West Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33130 and screenings are FREE and open to the public. Schedule as follows: Thursday 10/28/04 5:30 pm - The Ground Truth (Patricia Foulkrod, 29 minutes, 2004) This documentary project is the ongoing story of American soldiers involved in a war in Iraq and Afghanistan that is largely invisible tothe American public. 6pm - Uncovered: The War On Iraq (Robert Greenwald, 56 minutes, 2003) Uncovered deconstructs the Bush administration's case for war throughinterviews with U.S intelligence and defense officials, foreign service experts, and U.N. weapons inspectors - including a former CIA director,a former ambassador to Saudi Arabia and even President Bush's Secretary of the Army. 7:30pm - Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism (Robert Greenwald, 75 minutes, 2004) This controversial documentary examines how media empires, led by Rupert Murdoch's Fox News, have been running a "race to the bottom" in television news. Saturday 10/30/04 2pm - Voting In America (Laura Harrison & Charlotte Lagarde, 70 minutes, 2004) Voting in America is a collection of 9 short films that explore voter apathy, Redistricting in Texas, a get out the vote campaign on a Navajo Reservation, the disenfranchisement of Americans withfelony convictions, and much more. 3:30pm - Sixty Cameras Against The War (Julie Talen, 25 minutes, 2004) On February 15, 2003, every major city on the planet protested the impending war in Iraq. Sixty Cameras uses simultaneous images to chronicle the powerful response in New York City. Sunday 10/31/04 1:30pm - Unconstitutional (Nonny de la Peña, 67 minutes, 2004) Unconstitutional explores how the Patriot Act has taken away checks onlaw enforcement and continues to endanger the civil liberties of all Americans. 3pm - About Baghdad (InCounter Productions, 90 minutes, 2004) In July 2003, Sinan Antoon, an exiled Iraqi writer and poet, returned to Baghdad to see what has become of his city after wars, sanctions, decades of oppression and violence, and now occupation.
