Contemporary features, shorts and documentaries ranging from the most thought-provoking subjects of modern history's darkest time to hilarious, social satire will be shown January 21 - 29, at the 9th annual Miami Jewish Film Festival. Go For Zucker, the German box office smash and the first Jewish comedy to be made in Germany since World War II, premieres at the opening night's Cinema Alfresco, at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Ellen Wedner Festival Director has scheduled 9 exciting days of award-winning, international and domestic films, with appearances by special guest actors and directors, and the 2nd annual Young Filmmakers Institute. Throughout the festival, engaging and knowledgeable speakers lead question and answer sessions following the screenings.
