"The Constant Gardener" in the Garden
(released 1/12/2006)

The Miami Beach Botanical Garden, in partnership with Miami Beach Cinematheque, presents "The Constant Gardener" in the Garden, 2000 Convention Center Drive, on Tuesday, January 24 at 8 PM. Tickets are priced at $10 for the screening outdoors on the Great Lawn.

Winner of the Best Director Award from New York Film Critics Online 2005 and Nominee for the Best Picture Drama at the Golden Globes 2005, The Constant Gardener stars Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz.

Based on the best-selling John le Carra novel and from the Academy Award-nominated director of "City of God", The Constant Gardener is being hailed as one of the year's best thrillers. In a remote area of Northern Kenya, activist Tessa Quayle (Rachel Weisz) is found murdered. Haunted by remorse and jarred by rumors of his late wife's infidelities, Justin Quayle (Ralph Fiennes) surprises everyone by embarking on a personal odyssey that will take him across three continents. Using his privileged access to diplomatic secrets, he will risk his own life, stopping at nothing to uncover and expose the truth - a conspiracy more far-reaching and more deadly than Quayle could ever have imagined.

The screening will be indoors in case of inclement weather. For tickets call 305-673-7256 Ext. 202.
