Palm Beach Film Commission Open Post-Wilma
(released
11/7/2005)
By greenroomwire
The Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission (FTC) offices are open . The FTC has already begun to assist production companies with their requests to film in Palm Beach County during the next few weeks. At this time the FTC is able to fulfill permitting requests, including some beaches and parks, on a limited basis, depending on location, size and scope of the project.
Police and Fire Departments throughout Palm Beach County are expected to respond to the State of Emergency until further notice. Until Palm Beach County is no longer in a State of Emergency, Police and Fire resources will not be available on an off-duty basis for film, television and still photography productions.
The FTC is dedicated to the restoration of the production community in Palm Beach County. The FTC is currently assessing the damage to county and municipal public property to determine when areas will be available to the production community on a day by day basis. Production companies are encouraged to contact our office to discuss their individual production needs.
