About the movie
Directed and written by George Romero and starring John Leguizamo, Dennis Hopper, Simon Baker and Asia Argento, Land of the Dead is the fourth installment in Romero's "Dead" series - and uniformly cited to be his ultimate zombie masterpiece. In Land of the Dead, the living dead have taken over the world, leaving the last humans walled up in a city where they make a desperate, final stand to protect themselves. The ragtag group of hardened mercenaries become locked in an action-packed race to stop the destruction of mankind from a depraved army of the dead that have evolved into more advanced and threatening creatures.
