Advance Screening of Dreamworks' Prize Winner

Justin Routt and Birch Creek Films is holding another great event. This time, Justin has organized an advanced screening of the new DreamWorks movie, "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio" and a party afterwards. The event will take place on Thursday, September 22nd. The screening is at the AMC Theatre in Cocowalk, 3015 Grand Avenue in the Grove. This event is free!
"The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio", stars four time Academy Award nominee, Julianne Moore, and Oscar Nominees Laura Dern, and Woody Harrellson. This is the story of a devoted housewife and mother of 10 in the 1950's, who defies the odds to keep a roof over her family's head, when her husband can't make ends meet, applying her remarkable resourcefulness and uncommon wit, finding her own way, in the profitable jingle contests held in the 50's and '60's. Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis ("Forrest Gump") produced this movie, along with Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey. This also marks the feature film directoral debut of Jane Anderson ("Normal", "The Baby Dance"). Jane Anderson also wrote the screenplay.

The movie starts early, 7:30 P.M. Seating is limited, so please arrive by 6:45, at the latest, to insure a seat.
The After Party is at Oxygen Lounge, 2911 Grand Avenue. Free entrance for moviegoers, and ladies drink free until midnight. They are giving away prizes, too.
