Cinema Vortex presents Kuhle Wampe

Released in May 1932 and banned less than a year later by the Nazi regime, the German film Kuhle Wampe is an innovative work created by some of Europe's most talented artists.
Kuhle Wampe, also known as Who Owns the World?, is still provocative more than seventy years after its initial release.
Cinema Vortex presents Kuhle Wampe at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 13 as part of the Wolfsonian-FIU's new series of special events, "Free Fridays at the Wolf." The film will be shown in the Auditorium of the Wolfsonian, located at 10th Street and Washington Avenue on Miami Beach. Admission to the screening and museum galleries is free after 6:00 pm. This presentation of Kuhle Wampe has been made possible by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany.
A tour of the museum's current exhibitions begins at 6:00 pm. Reduced rate parking is available with validation at the 12th Street Municipal Parking Lot. "Free Fridays at the Wolf" is sponsored by The Miami Herald.
