Emily Estefan Performs with Miami Symphony Pop-Up

The Miami Symphony Pop-Up Series returns Friday March 10, 2017 at the Design District's Palm Court. This community event is for all who enjoy culture, art, and music. The Palm Court will host a sunset performance that will transform in the open air space to the night sky. It is complimentary to enter and the neighborhood is offering complimentary parking. Guests are encouraged to arrive before the 5 pm start time as seating is limited on a first come first serve basis.
The Miami Symphony Pop-Up Series performance is located at 140 NE 39th Street. The parking garage entrance is located at 38th Street and 1st Avenue. Cash bar of refreshments will be provided by Michael Schwarts's ella.
Vocalist Emily Estefan will perform her single "Ask ME To" that is part of her album "Take Whatever You Want". A graduate of Berkley School of Music and daughter to music royalty Gloria and Emilio Estefan, this performance will be days before Estefan's debut at SXSW Music Festival. Emily Estefan will share the stage with fellow vocalists King David, Lena Burke, and Danny Daniel. Guests will be hearing classical crossover music by Astor Piazzolla, Edward Elgar, Tito Puente, Richard Wagner, Emily Estefan, Klaus Badelt, Malcolm Arnold, Carlos Gardel, Rudy Perez, and Maurice Ravel.
The Miami Symphony Orchestra is 80 professional musicians selected from around the world. Led by Music Director and Conductor Eduardo Marturet for the past three years, the symphony is celebrating 28 years of contributing to Miami's cultural scene.
