Richard Gere will open 2017 Miami Film Festival

The Miami Film Festival announced Richard Gere's film Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer will open the 2017 festival. The opening night party will have Korbel and stars in the Alfred I. Dupont Building to propel the 34th annual festival March 3-12, 2017.
Some highlights of the festival include:
The Emilio Estefan-produced and Kenny Oretega-directed film Change of Heart will premiere starring Gloria Estefan, Aimee Teegarden, Virginia Madsen, Jim Belushi and William Levy.
Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On will upload Spring 2017 on Netflix. Rashida Jones directed an episode and will be at the festival to discuss "Woman on Top".
Edward James Olmos will be at the festival with his new production along with director Marty Sader for Monday Nights at Seven.
Representing 40 countries, the 34th edition of Miami Dade College's internationally acclaimed Miami Film Festival will screen 131 feature, documentary, and short films.
