About Frederick Wiseman: Director of 35 feature films, Wiseman set his cinema verité style with Titicut Follies in 1967 and years later realized it was the start of one long film about American life. He is an Emmy Award winner and recipient of the Peabody Award and Human Rights Watch Lifetime Achievement Award.
