Miami and Beaches Environmental Film Festival

Miami and Beaches Environmental Film Festival will take place October 16-20, 2013. The festival will begin at 6:45pm with keynote speaker, advocate Mr. Harvey Ruvin, at the Colony Theater followed by the festival's first screening A River Changes Course at 7:00pm. Following at 9:00pm, OMG GMO will screen also at the Colony Theater. The opening night party is free and being held at The Flat, 500 S Pointe Drive #180 in Miami, from 11:00pm-1:00am courtesy of VeeV! There will be an open bar from 11 to Midnight.

Screenings will take place throughout the week long festival at various locations: Colony Theater, Miami Beach Cinemateque, New World Symphony and Miami Benniale.

The environmentally inclined will find activities on Saturday starting at 9am such as a beach cleanup of Lummas Park Beach or a kayak excursion and exploration of Flagler Monument Island where you may opt to snorkel the island's clear blue shorelines.
