This Friday, March 2, 2012, the Miami International Film Festival, produced and presented by Miami Dade College, will begin.  The Opening Night Gala will be hosted at both the Olympia Theater and at the historically registered J Dupont Building. The screening being held at the Olympia Theater in downtown Miami will include a red carpet arrival of stars. The Opening Gala Party will be at the Dupont Building with a Speakeasy theme.

The festival will be present throughout Miami's downtown, beach and Little Havana neighborhoods.  Daily events include panels, screenings, Q and A with filmmakers, producers, writers, and actors, a village presence on the beach side of town, screenings in Little Havana, and outdoor screenings on the Walls of Wynwood.
