New One Stop Permitting in Miami

On February 8th, 2005, all three Greater Miami film offices announced the launch of One Stop Permitting which allows producers from anywhere around the world to apply for their permit online at www.filmiami.org.
One Stop Permitting is a computer network that links the Miami Dade County, City of Miami and City of Miami Beach film permitting offices via the internet to a central database that will hold permits, insurance and other pertinent information regarding filming within Miami-Dade County. This new One Stop Film Permit will allow producers of movies, television shows, commercials and still photo shoots worldwide to access a simplified film permit application process to facilitate a more film-friendly production environment.
