EYEURBANTV.COM is holding its inaugural Urban Gems Short Film Festival. It will take place August 19-20, 2011 from 6-11pm at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center.
Their goal is to create access to independent filmmakers within the underserved south Florida film industry.
They are still accepting submissions through Monday, July 25, 2011.
A portion of the proceeds will be given to a local charity as well as the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center. The AHCAC is loacted at 6161 NW 22nd Avenue in Miami.
